Is Lady the right dog for you?
Lady is an American Bulldog and a long term resident, having spent 50+ day at our shelter. She’s a volunteer favorite and loves the Adventure Dog program. She’s just a big, lovable cuddle bug. Lady and other pets waiting for adoption at our location on 22 Mile Road.

Is Jax the right cat for you?
Jax is a Domestic Short Hair that is constantly overlooked at the shelter due to being FIV positive. Beyond his diagnosis, he’s an absolute sweetheart that’s very laid back, tolerant and lives for attention. See Jax and other pets waiting for adoption at our location on 22 Mile Road.

What People Are Saying

Volunteering with awesome people and amazing animals is life changing. The people at the shelter completely transform these pets from scared and anxious to loving and playful.

Breezy Bri

Volunteering at the humane society has been a major pleasure and learning experience. The atmosphere of the place is so loving and open that it’s easy to connect with people. The animals are also very well cared for and adorable to play with. Spending time at the humane society has been a wonderful experience that I wouldn’t trade for anything.
