Is Poncho the right dog for you?
Poncho is a 2 year old American Staffordshire Terrier. Poncho can be very scared in new situations and will need a patient owner that will go at his pace. Poncho would benefit with another confident dog in the home to teach him to be brave so bring your dog to the meet and greet to see if they get along! Poncho is known for being a couch potato and can lay on the lobby couches all day and be the happiest dog. Poncho is also very curious and nosey when it comes to his surroundings and people so adventures would do his mind some good! Contact the shelter to learn more about all the animals available.
Is Sheldon the right cat for you?
Sheldon is a 2 year old, domestic gray and white, long hair cat. Sheldon has quite the attitude and tends to act like a sour patch kid. Sheldon is a very independent kitty who is looking for a patient home that will go at his pace. He is a very sweet boy but because of his “cattitude” everything is on his terms! He is good with dogs and kids over the age of 14 and is housetrained, but please no other cats in the home. Sheldon’s ideal home would be where he can be admired from afar. Sheldon is up to date with shots, spayed, and microchipped. Contact the shelter to learn more about all the animals available.
What People Are Saying
Volunteering with awesome people and amazing animals is life changing. The people at the shelter completely transform these pets from scared and anxious to loving and playful.
Breezy Bri
Volunteering at the humane society has been a major pleasure and learning experience. The atmosphere of the place is so loving and open that it’s easy to connect with people. The animals are also very well cared for and adorable to play with. Spending time at the humane society has been a wonderful experience that I wouldn’t trade for anything.
